Lynet, one of the smallest mobile ANPR cameras on the market, delivers exceptional performance and accurate readings on the move.
This tiny camera boasts a powerful combination of image sensors and unrivaled onboard analytics. Get instant readings and results with a concealed device – on license plates, vehicle make, model, and color – in all weather conditions and even at high speed!
Lynet shatters the limitations of the traditional, bulky mobile ANPR cameras. Its covert design lets you mount it discreetly on the dashboard or the rooftop, under the light bar. This small device packs a punch with its 5MP camera and Global Shutter technology, capturing high-resolution, colored images even at highway speeds – a rare feature typically absent from cameras in this category.
Its built-in Carmen® engine empowers real-time insights on the field, ideal for undercover operations and low-profile surveillance in law enforcement, traffic monitoring, and more.
Lynet’s lightweight design facilitates easy deployment and mobility, allowing for quick setup and smooth operation in various environments. This mobile ANPR camera streamlines integration, with PoE+ technology simplifying installation and power supply.
Lynet natively integrates with Carmen® Mobile ANPR App, eliminating the need for complex integrations and providing ready-to-use parking enforcement solutions.
Single standard PoE+ connector. Connect Lynet to a PoE+ capable router and you are ready to go!
Full metal body to withstand any weather conditions (IP67). Small size and weight to be installed under lightbars or anywhere else on the vehicle. No moving parts.
With video analytics for vehicle detection to reduce hardware costs.
The only mobile ANPR camera on the market with a Carmen® ANPR engine on board.
Well-documented and easy to understand API. PUSH and PULL datastreams available.
Integrated infrared illumination to recognize plates, even in a pitch-black environment.
The Lynet camera can cover 2 or 3 traffic lanes, depending on the setup.
The Lynet camera can handle vehicle speeds up to 300 km/h (186 mph).
Yes, thanks to the Lynet camera’s compact size and flexible installation options, it can be integrated into a light bar.
Although the Lynet camera is designed to be used outside the vehicle, based on our tests it can work behind the windshield (IR reflection should be considered at nighttime).
Yes, the Lynet camera can synchronize with GPS data. It merges the GPS information with vehicle identification events through a GPS router.
While an 8MP camera (or higher) might sound impressive, a 5MP camera is sufficient to capture high-resolution images needed for accurate ANPR. More megapixels mean more data, which is unnecessary for OCR and can actually be a disadvantage. The extra data increases processing time and memory usage, leading to inefficiencies.
Our 5MP camera is optimized for ANPR, ensuring quick processing and efficient use of memory without compromising on image quality.
